Overview
This project was based on the integration of AEM forms into the digital switch of the Thurgau canton of Switzerland https://schalter.tg.ch/. Here we were able to dynamically incorporate all digitalized processes
Key Features
- Forms Designs and Integration: Developed aem forms in accordion, considering the Storybook and designs of canton thurgau.
- Figma Designs Implementation: Implementation of desings into AEM components and existing functionality.
- Processes Requirements: Setting priorities and potential bottlenecks.
- Responsive Designs: Correct embedding via iframe in PWA.
Technologies Used
- Figma Designs and Prototypes: For extracting design and and match the Storybook.
- Javascript, Less and Apache Sling: For building the front-end and back-end codebase with clean, reusable components, meeting the funcional requirements.
- Insomnia: For managing the test requests and userflow scenarios.
- AEM forms module: Building, deploying and testing the created forms.
Challenges and Learnings
Here I was able to see the challenge of not only understanding the requirements, but also how entities in Switzerland work, such as the education system, traffic, and others. It was a challenge to understand and implement the functional requirements without them interfering in other processes.
Outcome
Currently this portal is functional and serves users who want to carry out any process in the canton of Thurgau in the multiple processes digitalized through our implementation.
