I now have Sunrise Global Connect. I am still evaluating speed tests with it. I will not invent numbers here.
What I do know, without doubt, is this: this Sunrise plan is much worse than Swisscom.
That is what I want to say. Sunrise does not come close to Swisscom Blue L.
Day to day I feel the gap. Blue L felt free. Excellent signal almost everywhere. On the same line I could connect 5 more devices. With Sunrise I do not get that same freedom, and the signal does not hold up the way Blue L did.
If someone out there is thinking of switching, they should know what Blue L actually gives you before they leave it.
I switched at the end of August. I closed Swisscom Blue Mobile L and moved onto Sunrise Global Connect. The number was ported. I am on a 24-month minimum, plus an extra We Connect SIM.
I am not writing this to fight a brand. I am writing it so someone else does not make the same mistake: leaving Blue L or picking Sunrise thinking it is the same thing.
When I finish looking at the speed tests calmly, if there is something solid and measured, I will add it. Until then the conclusion is already there: Sunrise does not reach Blue L.
